Binghamton NY- They say it's tough to beat a team three times, and the Corning Hawks softball team, Saturday, proved it with a convincing 17 hit attack-13 to 4 win over Horseheads, giving Corning it's first-ever Sectional Title. Paced by Gabby Citriniti's 3 doubles/1 single, Taylor Sparks two-run homer, and pitching ace Quincy Lewis on the mound, the Hawks jumped out to an early lead through the first three innings, taking a 5-0 advantage. They added four runs each in the 5th & 6th innings, and withstood a mini rally by the Raiders in the 6th as they scored three times on five hits.
